When will I receive my Metamorph Bloom Box in the mail?

We work on a PREORDER process. Securing your order online will place you in our shipping queue and your order will be fulfilled in the order that it was received. The beauty of this process is that we are at the mercy of Mother Nature and the monarch butterflies production of eggs and caterpillars in our greenhouse. You will receive a shipping notification as soon as your Metamorph Bloom Box has dispatched with UPS. Feel free to email us directly for updates on your order status.

What if my arrangement arrives damaged?

We have worked hard to ensure the safe delivery of your Metamorph Bloom Box. The orchid will naturally shed a few petals during transit. We ship our orchid arrangements with blooms and buds to ensure you are greeted with blossoms when the box is opened! Please notify us immediately with any concerns. We want you to have a beautiful experience and create happy memories!

What if my monarch butterfly doesn’t emerge from the chrysalis?

We raise our monarchs in a pesticide free, healthy, lush environment. Unfortunately, not all of them make it and that is the allegory of life and what makes the process of metamorphosis and transformation so special. Please message us directly through instagram or email with any questions or concerns and we will guide you through the process.

What if my butterfly emerges during a storm and I can’t release it outside?

Monarchs are accustomed to nature and the unpredictable weather. During storms, butterflies hide under leaves and shrubbery. Should your butterfly emerge during inclement weather then place a piece of sweet fruit on the arrangement and it will gravitate to the sugar for nectar and energy fuel.

Should I keep the arrangement outside at all times?

No. Keep your arrangement somewhere where you can see it and watch its progress everyday. When the monarch emerges, it will stay on the arrangement for several hours before it’s ready to take flight. Enjoy watching the daily transformation!

Will my monarch butterfly lay eggs in my garden after I release it?

We love the idea of your monarch staying close to home! Monarchs require their native host plant to lay eggs and prefer to be around brightly colored flowers and blooms. Monarchs need flower nectar for growth and energy to reproduce! We can’t promise that your monarch will stay although, you can plant a butterfly garden and they will eventually come.

Do you paint the gold metallic spots on the monarch chrysalis?

No. The gold metallic spots on the outside of a chrysalis are ports of entry for oxygen. The spots are involved in the distribution of formation wing scale coloration throughout metamorphosis. The gold spots are created by natures paintbrush. It truly is a jewel.
